About us
We built Is Mercury in Retrograde Right Now? because we wanted a zero-bloat, instant answer to the cosmic state of the solar system—without wading through tracking cookies, pop-up ads, or pages that load half the internet before telling you whether Mercury is retrograde.
What we believe
Astronomical facts should be fast and transparent. If Mercury is moving retrograde, you should see that in under a second on any device. If you want deeper context—shadow periods, other planets, or a date in the past—you should not have to hunt through a maze of affiliate links.
We pair precise ephemeris calculations with plain-language explanations. Astrology is cultural context; the sky positions are data. We keep those layers separate so you can trust the numbers and take or leave the symbolism.
How the site works
The site is built with Astro and deployed on Cloudflare for a static, edge-cached experience. Calculations run from established astronomical libraries in your browser at build time and on the client when you pick custom dates. We do not sell your retrograde status to data brokers.
Editorial standards
Our FAQ and guide pages are written for real search questions—shadow periods, frequency, planet rosters—not filler paragraphs for algorithms. When dates change, the math updates; when we improve copy, we do it to help humans understand the sky.
Advertising
We may show limited advertising (including Google AdSense) to keep hosting costs sustainable. Ad slots are sized in advance to avoid layout jumps, and our Privacy Policy explains cookies and personalized ads clearly.
